John Manning
- Founder and CEO
A lifelong resident of Harlem,
NYC, this 63 year-old entrepreneur has endeavored to launch the
website EatinHarlem.com to galvanize not only the restaurateurs
into action, but also to contribute handsomely to the
revitalization of efforts of the historic village of Harlem. Mr.
Manning set out to accomplish his goal over four years ago.
Together with the help of Tony Mendes, Mr. Manning sought to
realize his dream of launching an exhaustive website featuring the
delicacies of his hometown. Now, in 2004 his aggressive management
team is set to launch the site in May 2004.
Tyreta E.
Foster, Esq. – General
Counsel, Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs
Ms. Foster is a Managing Member
of The Figaro Law Firm that boasts offices in New York and New
Jersey. She specializes in corporate and entertainment law. Ms.
Foster joins the EatinHarlem.com, Inc. Management Team bringing
her talents from her work with BBC Worldwide Americas, Inc., the
commercial arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation. As
in-house counsel to the BBC, Ms. Foster advised US and Latin
American Television Sales, Video on Demand, Library Sales,
Merchandising, Book Publishing, Home Video and Finance Departments
regarding various legal aspects of their business including such
discrete matters as music performance royalties, product
placement, trademark and copyright and on-line rights. She has
liaised and negotiated numerous transactions with other media
concerns such as Discovery Channel, A&E, National Geographic,
VH1 and Televisa. Having been associated with two large national
law firms, Ms. Foster has counseled numerous emerging companies,
investment advisers of both domestic and offshore hedge funds and
engaged in various merger and acquisition transactions including
the famed Sandbox Entertainment game company IPO via the Internet.
She has also worked alongside counsel at the American Express
Company and The McGraw Hill Companies. Ms. Foster is an
award-winning writer and an FCC licensed disc jockey. She hails
from New York University School of Law where she received her
juris doctorate and was honored with a Public Interest Law
Foundation Award, Harvard University where she received her BA
with honors, and she is a graduate of Hunter High School, ranked
Worth magazine’s #1 high school in America. At present, Ms.
Foster serves on the board of the New York Women’s Chamber of

Ushana M.
Houston – Vice President
of Business Development and Marketing
Ms. Houston is the Director of
Business Development and Marketing at The Figaro Law Firm. She was
previously associated with the global public relations firm of
Hill & Knowlton, Inc. At present, Ms. Houston spearheads the
marketing efforts of the corporate clients of The Figaro Law Firm.
She has devised marketing strategies for multi-media concerns,
fashion designers, educational initiatives, executive recruitment
companies and real estate entities. While Ms. Houston boasts
wide-ranging experience in Marketing and Public Relations, her
specialty is Crisis Management. Ms. Houston has attended Columbia
University and New York University. At present she is an active
participant in the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone’s Merchants
Committee and a member of Councilman Bill Perkins’ Steering

Beatrice
Perkins – Visual
Designer, BP Design House – Graphic Designer
Beatrice is Director and Senior
Designer at BP Design House and
has worked in the computer industry for over 10 years. As a
graduate of the University of Illinois she obtained a Bachelor of
Arts in 1992 with her studies being a combination of Architecture
and Urban Design. With this strong visual training, she began her
professional career in Chicago. Shortly thereafter, she moved to
New York where her visual training was directed towards desktop
publishing, graphic design and web design. Her client database has
included clients such as American Express, Merrill Lynch, Turner
Broadcasting and JP Morgan Chase. She holds professional
memberships with the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and
the Association for Women's Economic Development (AWED). Ms.
